Shipping policy

BRIGHTSHIFT ships custom-printed workwear polos Australia-wide. This policy explains our production and shipping timeframes, rates, and what to expect after you place an order.
Production Time
All BRIGHTSHIFT polos are made to order. Production time is:
- 4 business days after you approve the digital proof.
This is the time we need to print, press, cut, sew, and quality-check your order. It does not include shipping time.
Rush orders
If you need your order sooner, email hello@brightshift.com.au before placing your order. Rush production may be available for an additional fee depending on workload.
Artwork Approval
Production begins after you approve the digital proof we send you.
- We aim to send proofs within 1 business day of receiving your order.
- You can request revisions — the proof process repeats until you approve.
- The 4-business-day production clock starts at your approval, not at order placement.
If you delay approving the proof, your delivery date shifts accordingly.
Shipping Methods and Timeframes
Shipping times are in addition to production time:

Estimated transit times are based on Australia Post and third-party courier schedules and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, or public holidays.
Shipping Rates
All rates are shown ex-GST at checkout; 10% GST is added at checkout. Standard is road freight; Express is priority air service. Rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order's total weight.

Remote and country areas: Our carrier may charge a remote-area surcharge for certain destinations (typically $20–$55 extra). If your delivery postcode falls into a remote zone we will email you a revised freight quote before finalising your order — you can approve or cancel at no charge.

Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with: - Carrier name - Tracking number - Estimated delivery date
You can track your parcel using the link in the email.
Delivery
- We ship during business hours Monday–Friday (excluding Victorian public holidays).
- Deliveries go to the shipping address you provide at checkout. Please double-check this is correct before completing your order.
- We cannot redirect parcels after dispatch. If your address is wrong, contact the carrier directly.
- For business addresses: parcels require a signature unless you authorise "authority to leave" with the carrier.
International Shipping
At this stage, BRIGHTSHIFT ships within Australia only. If you need international shipping, email us and we'll see what we can arrange on a case-by-case basis.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged:
- Email hello@brightshift.com.au with your order number and photos (if damaged).
- We'll work with the carrier to locate the parcel or arrange a claim.
- For confirmed lost parcels, we'll reprint and resend at no cost.
- For damage in transit, we'll assess the remedy under our Returns & Refund Policy.
Delays
If your order is delayed due to production issues on our end, we will email you with an updated timeframe. We aim to meet the 4-business-day production target in all cases, but in rare circumstances (equipment failure, supplier delays) this may extend.
